There is excellent cycling, hiking and cross-country skiing in every direction. Baysville and Dorset are both an easy run for the bakery, the LCBO and dinner, while Bracebridge and Huntsville are each about thirty minutes away for hospitals, schools, building supplies and everything a larger town provides. Pearson is roughly two and a quarter hours south.
